Finishing the final session is not always the moment an ICP-ACC credential appears on your profile. The provider may need to confirm attendance, complete its assessment process and submit learner details. ICAgile then records or issues the certification through its learner process, and a shareable badge may involve an invitation from Credly.

The usual handoff from classroom to credential
- Complete the attendance, participation and assessment requirements published by the provider.
- Confirm the spelling of your name and the email address that should be used for the learner record.
- The provider records successful completion through the applicable ICAgile process.
- Watch for messages from ICAgile and Credly, including spam or promotions folders.
- Create or access the learner and badge accounts using the same email where required.
- Accept the badge and check that the public display contains the correct credential and name.
Prevent the most common record problem
Use one stable personal email when possible. Corporate addresses may be disabled after a job change, and different addresses can create duplicate records. Before the course ends, verify your legal or preferred display name, email and consent for credential processing.

How to describe ICP-ACC accurately on LinkedIn
Use the credential name and issuing organisation shown on the official record. Do not expand it into claims such as ICF-accredited coach, enterprise coach or certified trainer unless you separately hold those qualifications. A precise description builds more trust than an inflated title.
Add evidence beside the badge
A certificate says you completed an accredited learning experience. Strengthen the profile with a short, non-confidential example of practice: how you improved a coaching agreement, changed a leading-question habit, facilitated a team conflict or designed a deliberate mentoring boundary. Avoid claiming client results you cannot support.
Validity is different from current capability
ICAgile says the certification does not require renewal fees. The credential remains yours, but practical capability still needs use, feedback and reflection. Set a practice rhythm while the class is fresh rather than treating the badge acceptance email as the finish line.
Share the credential without sharing account access
Use the public verification or sharing features provided by the credential platform. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or full account screenshots to a recruiter or training provider. A verifier should need the public credential record, not access to your learner account. If an employer needs confirmation beyond the public badge, ask ICAgile or the provider for the supported verification route. Keep the completion email and invoice for your records, but remove phone numbers, addresses and payment details before uploading any evidence to a portfolio.
