About the Official Certification

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a foundational Scrum Alliance credential focused on maximizing value and effective product ownership.

Attend a 16-hour live online or in-person course delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer.

Scrum Alliance does not currently require a test for CSPO. Successful attendance and completion of the course earns the credential.

The credential renews every two years. Foundational Scrum Alliance certifications require 20 Scrum Education Units for renewal.
