PSPO I validates a fundamental understanding of Scrum, Product Owner accountabilities, and how to maximize the value delivered with a product.

The PSPO I assessment contains 80 questions in 60 minutes. Question formats include multiple choice, multiple answer, and true/false. The passing score is 85%.

An official Scrum.org PSPO class includes one PSPO I attempt. A second attempt is provided at no additional cost when the first attempt is made within 14 days and does not reach 85%.

The PSPO I certification does not expire and does not require renewal fees or continuing-education credits.
