This training follows the AI-Empowered Leading SAFe learning direction introduced with courseware release 2026.02.24. Scaled Agile now identifies course releases by release date instead of using framework version labels such as SAFe 6.0.
After completing the course, learners access the assigned learning plan, use the official workbook and practice test, accept the Candidate Agreement, take the timed online exam, and receive the AI-Empowered SAFe Agilist credential and digital badge after passing.
The current SAFe Agilist exam contains 45 single-select multiple-choice questions, allows 90 minutes, and requires an 80% passing score. It is web-based, closed book, and does not allow outside assistance.

Scaled Agile currently lists a $50 fee for an unproctored retake and $450 for a proctored retake. The third overall attempt is available immediately, the fourth after 10 days, and later attempts after 30-day waiting periods. Fees and policies can change, so confirm them in the official exam guide before booking.
The certification pathway includes access to the course workbook and SAFe Studio for preparation, an unlimited practice test with question-level feedback, role-specific learning resources, SAFe CoPilot access, community resources, a shareable digital badge, and eligible PMI PDUs and Scrum CEUs.
The AI-Empowered SAFe Agilist credential is renewed yearly. Scaled Agile currently requires at least 20 Continuing Education Units each year. Renewal fees and requirements should be confirmed in SAFe Studio because policies may change.
