About the Official Certification
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is a foundational Scrum Alliance credential earned after completing the required course and passing the online test.
Attend at least 16 hours of interactive instruction delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer.
The test contains 50 multiple-choice questions. Answer at least 37 correctly within 60 minutes. Two attempts are included within 90 days.
The credential renews every two years. Foundational Scrum Alliance certifications require 20 Scrum Education Units for renewal.
