The role spans team and ART work
An SSM facilitates team events, supports flow, helps remove impediments, builds collaboration, and prepares the team to participate in PI Planning and ART execution. The role should not become a status collector for the RTE or a manager who assigns work.

It should not decide whose concern is valid, expose confidential team data, invent consensus, or replace the human work of trust, conflict, and coaching.
